Having worked for the City of Bullard for a total of almost 4 years! Maria Moreira worked as the Utility Billing Clerk for her first 3 years with the City of Bullard and in March of 2021 she accepted the role as Director of Human Resources. She says her favorite thing about her job is, “Is that she loves that she gets to help her coworkers. There really is a sense of ‘family’ here at the City.”
Maria’s peers believe that she is definitely the best person for the role, saying – “She is able to communicate effectively, is reliable, flexible, and displays honesty and integrity. She’s the perfect person for the job!”
Some fun tidbits about Maria:
- Her hometown is Rio Verde, San Luis Potosí, Mexico – the 5th most populated city in the state of San Luis Potosí!
- She is married and has two beautiful boys
- In her free time, she loves to travel to new places with her husband and boys!
The best piece of advice she has ever been given was:
“Do what you are afraid to do, because we are here to learn and grow.”
