Blast Over Bullard
Come on out and celebrate our great nation's independence with our 10th annual Blast Over Bullard celebration. The event will be Saturday, June 30, 2018 beginning at 5 pm. This year we will have a lot great activities for both parents and children, a photo booth, a new twist on old-time games, local vendors, and various bounce houses, activity jumps, and water activities. We have a great music line-up of local artists leading up to a concert by the one and only Brandon Rhyder. The kids bike brigade will begin at 7:30 pm. Here in the City of Bullard, we have been fortunate enough to keep our events free to the public, except for food by the food vendors, thanks to the amazing companies that we have in the East Texas Area. The continued love and support through sponsorship's keep our events growing, and a free family fun event for the East Texas Area. Let the music ROCK!
We will have a great line-up of local artists for you beginning at 6 PM. They will kick off this event with some great entertainment for you, and all leading up to a concert by Brandon Rhyder beginning at 8 PM.
Let the fun times ROLL!
At the 2018 Blast Over Bullard celebration, there will be a lot of fun activities for you and your children to enjoy! We will have a various assortment of bounce houses, activity jumps, and water activities. In order for participation in these fun events, you must be wearing a FREE wristband, which you receive by filling out a waiver. You may fill out the waiver at the event near the City tent, OR you may prefill out the waiver and skip the line to pick up your wristbands at the designated area for pick up, which will be emailed to you upon completion of the waiver. Make way for the kids bike brigade!
Every year the kids bike brigade is one to watch. The children always do an outstanding job of showing off their patriotism by decorating their bikes/atvs. This year, will be no different. the kids bike brigade is for children ages 4-11, starting at 7:30 PM. If your children are interested in participating, please have them fill out the application below, and we will email you instructions for the check-in process at the event. This year, we will be adding a patriotic decorating contest which will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. The celebrity judges will include, City Council members, the Mayor, the City Manager, and the Director of Public Relations and Communications. Judging will take place as they are lining up for the brigade and will be announced and given their prizes as they are finished. Interested in setting up a booth?
Blast Over Bullard is now offering vendor spots to those who wish to be a vendor at the event. All vendors must have an activity for children (choices available on a first come, first serve basis). If you are interested in being a vendor, please fill out the application below. Want to get involved?
Over the years Blast Over Bullard has grown into the biggest attended event for our community, and is continuing to grow in attendance and activities each year. In order to accommodate the fast paced growth of the City and our events, we are asking for volunteers to help make these great additions to our events possible. If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the volunteer application below. We have many areas that you could help serve in and our shifts are in 30 minute-1 hour increments.
